- Tonsillitis/ pharyngitis w/ or w/o exudate
- Posterior/ diffuse cervical lymphadenopathy
GI
- W/ or w/o hepatosplenomegaly
- Transient hepatitis
Skin
- W/ or w/o rash after amoxicillin
Complications
- Acute airway obstruction
- Autoimmune hemolytic anemia
- Thrombocytopenia
- Splenic rupture
Diagnosis
- Positive heterophile antibody (Monospot) test
Treatment
- Supportive care

- Corticosteroids: decreases airway edema
